Main Altar at St. Fidelis Church
These are pictures from St. Fidelis Church in Victoria, Kansas. It is one of the "Eight Wonders of Kansas." My great-great grandfather and great grandfather helped build this "Cathedral of the Plains," and six generations of my family have attended mass there. Because they used to train priests there, it has five very ornate altars. The main marble altar came from Italy, and the stained glass windows came from Germany. It is incredible to see a small town (population 2,066) have such a wonderful church.
